Treating Infants Early Study (TIES)

The Treating Infants Early Study (“TIES”) aims to increase our understanding of how treatment initiated very early in life benefits newborns who are infected with HIV. TIES is an observational study that does not specify any specific treatment, but collects information and specimens from infants receiving care directed by their primary doctors.

TIES has been designed to make it as easy as possible for mothers and infants to participate from any site in North America. Mothers and guardians can provide consent electronically using an online form, but paper consent (with information given by the study team over the phone) is also possible when internet access is not available.

To learn more about the study download an information sheet or contact us directly.
